Description: Todays video is a little more on the simpler side but I hope you still enjoyed. I love Mandala art and have been waiting for an opportunity to make a cake using the technique. Eyes-leaf green mixed with moss green Nose-rose mixed with ivory Face-orange mixed with ivory To build up the color and add depth, I used the following and made the mixture a little more concentrated, again using food grade alcohol Eyes-leaf green mixed with moss green, brown for around the pupil Nose-rose mixed with ivory, deepened the color with just ivory Face-Ivory mixed with yellow for the yellowish highlighting around the eyes.orange mixed with ivory and orange mixed with brown for the deeper shades and then straight brown for the shading around the eyes I used Spectrum Flow black airbrush color for all black on the cake because I like how it isnt immediately too dark and you can build up the color. tiger face template and inspo: images.fineartamerica.com/ima... ~FOLLOW ME, ONLY IF YOU WANT TO LOL~ Instagram: instagram.com/thelovelybaker99 Facebook: facebook.com/thelovelybaker ~RECIPES~ Fondant : youtu.be/o3GsK0Rr1Gw Buttercream: youtube.com/watch?v=g0MHe... Royal Icing: youtube.com/watch?v=Y0y2H4mm4vY&t=386s Chocolate Ganache: place 1200g dark chocolate (I use Callebaut brand) with 600mg heavy (35%, you have to weigh it out on a kitchen scale as well do not measure out in mls) cream into a microwaveable bowl. Microwave for 30 second intervals and mix the chocolate really well in-between until it is melted. Be careful not to burn or overheat your chocolate, your mixing should do most of the work of melting. Once it has melted ( *please note, for this cake I added a little bit of black food coloring at this point and mixed it in size I wanted it to be darker, you don't have to), place plastic wrap directly on top of the chocolate and let sit on the counter to set up, in the fridge if you need it asap. ganache is ready to use when it is at a peanut butter consistency.
